Safeguarding

Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at Queensmead School is our top priority. We have clear policies and procedures in place to safeguard the young people in our care.

Safeguarding means that we aim to ensure the well-being of students both emotionally and physically, taking steps in order to ensure that young people are not at risk, either from themselves or from others.

We continue to monitor vulnerable students and maintain contact with the relevant services.

Students with concerns can do any of the following:

  • Speak to a member of the safeguarding team - posters are displayed around school to ensure students know who they can speak to
  • Speak to any teacher they feel comfortable speaking to
  • Use the SOS form on the intranet
  • Use the student disclosure form on the intranet
  • Parents with concerns can email office@qmschool.org.uk
