Governors

The Governors of Queensmead school work alongside our school Leadership Group, to continuously develop and improve our provision for our students.

We work together to make decisions on the overall direction of the school, setting policies, creating targets and and making development plans. We also decide how to make the best use of the school budget, for the benefit of the children’s education.

We work as a team; every decision we make is carefully considered, with each Governor sharing the responsibility and working collaboratively together, on behalf of the school.

At Queensmead, the full Governing Body meets every term. Because of the complexity of a school, much of the detailed work is organised through its Resources and Curriculum committees.

If you wish to contact a Governor please email them c/o office@qmschool.org.uk or if you wish to write to a particular governor, send it marked ‘Private and Confidential’ to the school and the letter will be passed on unopened.

Who are the governors?

Our governing body is made up of parents, staff and members of the local community.

Mr D Patterson is the Clerk to the Governors.
